Yamaha Raider Easy Fork Cover Removal

Here is an easy way to get those nasty looking fork covers off. Take a small piece of wood and gently tap around the bottom of the cover in a circle until it pops off. Then I took some tin snips and cut that bad boy off. They are just plastic so you could also use a sharp knife. Just be careful not to nick the forks with the knife.

 

Here's what it looks like after the covers are off. Look close and you'll see a small groove that goes around the entire fork. This is where the covers were sitting. Do It! You won't believe how easy it is.
